To use the calculator enter the amount they wish to borrow/owe, the term over which you intend to pay the mortgage over, the type of mortgage and the interest rate. A slider control allows you to quickly see the effect that an increase or decrease in interest rate would have on your monthly payments and the overall amount to pay.
